complete genome sequencing of a Dyadobacter species, isolated from a freshwater biofilm

Genomic data is a useful tool to understand the role bacteria play in diatom physiology and function. The goal of this study was to produce a complete genome sequence of Dyadobacter sp. 32, a bacterium which, when co-cultured with diatoms, induces a number of interesting phenotypes. This bacterium thus seems to be important in biofilm formation.
