Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Purely Plants Nursery, Wantage Road, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, July 2023

This collection consists of images, text, databases, GIS and site record data from a trial trench evaluation by Oxford Archaeology. Work occurred at Purely Plants, Wantage Road, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, in July 2023. The only archaeological remains found during the trenching were an undated shallow curvilinear ditch and an undated north-west to southeast aligned ditch. Both were located in the southern part of the site and neither yielded any artefactual evidence. The remainder of site was devoid of significant archaeological remains with only natural or modern features identified.
