Feature set provides the location of existing, privately owned buildings that provide publicly subsidized housing. The data set is used in the California Housing Partnership's Affordable Housing Map & Benefits Calculator. The source data was last updated October 25, 2021. The universe of affordable homes captured in the tool is from the California Housing Partnership’s Preservation Database, an inventory of federal- and state-subsidized affordable rental properties, many of which also receive local subsidies.
