These are unanswered representations sent by individuals and organisations which were not registered as part of the series of Representation files. They were instead set aside and kept loose because of policy decisions not to answer large volumes of letters received as the result of campaigns to organise mass public opinion on particular issues.These files comprise hand written letters, signed petitions, (form) letters and telegrams relating to a wide range of controversial issues affecting the State.
