This project aims to sample, analyze, and interpret microbial molecular data from three microbiota found in the Zoological Park of São Paulo. These are: a composting operation, a water reservoir, and stools from Alouatta monkeys. The techniques employed are isolation and cultivation of microbes, and metagenomics and metatranscriptomics.
