This FAIRsharing record describes: The NIAID Data Ecosystem Discovery Portal enables dataset exploration from a wide variety of biomedical repositories and offers a convenient one-stop-shop for discovery of data on infectious and immune-mediated diseases (IIDs). The Discovery Portal regularly collects metadata from all included repositories and indexes as an open and searchable catalogues for data exploration. The NIAID Data Ecosystem is a secure environment to discover immune-mediated and infectious disease data, computational tools, and other resources to speed the development of diagnostics, therapeutics, and vaccines. The NIAID Data Ecosystem Discovery Portal harvests metadata from dataset repositories and harmonizes them to a schema to enable easy cross-platform dataset searching and filtering.
