To better understand the viral communities and detect the presence of antibiotics resistance genes (ARGs) in cryoconites of Ward Hunt Ice Rise, Nunavut, Canada, water and sediment samples from six cryoconites were collected. Microbial biomass, diversity, and ARG profiles were assessed via molecular approaches.
