COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT AFTER COVID-19: NEUROLOGICAL ASPECTS AND LABORATORY DIAGNOSTICS
收藏资源简介:
The study was based on a prospective follow-up, which examined cognitive functions (mmse, Moca tests) and laboratory parameters (C-reactive protein, interleukin-6, D-dimer, neurospecific enolase, protein s100b) in patients from the group after covid. It was also found that an increase in the level of IL-6, CRP and markers of neuron damage significantly correlated with a decrease in cognitive functions. A comprehensive clinical and laboratory approach is important for the early detection of post-covid cognitive impairment, assessment of its severity, and development of effective treatment strategies.s100b) in post-covid patients. The results showed that neuroinflammation, hypoxic damage, and microcirculation disorders play an important role in the development of cognitive impairment. It was also found that an increase in the level of IL-6, CRP and markers of neuron damage significantly correlated with a decrease in cognitive functions. An integrated clinical and laboratory approach is important for early detection of post-cystic cognitive impairment, assessment of its severity, and development of effective treatment strategies.
