How a Tortured Conference Becomes a Series: An Analysis of Conference Manipulations

This dataset supports the study “How a Tortured Conference Becomes a Series: An Analysis of Conference Manipulations” published in the ACM/IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL 2025). It provides structured information about conferences identified as hosting articles containing tortured phrases. Data were collected using the Problematic Paper Screener, complemented by metadata retrieved from Dimensions.
