In this study, we conducted a comprehensive geochemical analysis of volcanic rocks from the Xiaoxiong Caldera in South China. Whole-rock geochemical compositions were systematically investigated to characterize the major and trace element abundances. Additionally, zircon grains extracted from these rocks were subjected to U-Pb dating, trace element analysis, and Hf isotopic analysis to constrain the magmatic history and source characteristics. Furthermore, the major and trace element compositions, as well as volatile contents, of apatite within these rocks were measured to provide insights into the magmatic processes and volatile evolution associated with the volcanic system. This multi-proxy approach offers a detailed understanding of the petrogenesis and geodynamic setting of the Xiaoxiong Caldera volcanic rocks.
