Hepatic Lcmr1 activates the transcription of G6pc and is needed for gluconeogenesis

To investigate the cooperative function Lcmr1 in the regulation of hepatic gluco-lipid homeostasis, we generats hepatic Lcmr1 knockout mice.We then performed gene expression profiling analysis, as well as RNA pol II ChIP-seq, using primary hepatocyte obtained from liver sample of the control or null mice. Transcription sequencing (RNA-seq) and Chromatin immunoprecipitation DNA-sequencing (ChIP-seq) for Lcmr1 in mature hepatocytes seperated from either hepatic Lcmr1 null or control mice, were perfomed.
