Evidence of in-hospital transmission of Enterobacter cloacae (n=3, ST484) which are resistant to colistin and harboring mcr-9.

In this study we revealed in-hospital transmission of Enterobacter cloacae which were resistant to colistin (minimum inhibitory concentration, MIC) and harboring mcr-9. Additional 24 agents antimicrobial susceptibility and genetic characteristics by pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE), whole genome sequencing (WGS) of the strains were identical.
