Porewater geochemistry of sediment core M186_23-1@en

The main goal of RV Meteor expedition M186 was to investigate fluid dynamics on the Azores Plateau, Central North Atlantic Ocean. The work is systematic continuation of multiple expeditions (e.g. M113, M141/1 and M162) in the region in the last decade. The first results of M186 confirm a diverse picture of fluid chemistry that was already known from previous cruises. Fluids dynamics and systematics are diverse here, shown by different trends in major elemental composition in short distance.“气象号（RV Meteor）”科考航次M186的核心考察目标，为探究北大西洋中部亚速尔高原的流体动力学特征。本次工作是近十年间该区域内多项科考航次（如M113、M141/1及M162）研究的系统性延续。M186航次的首批研究结果证实了流体化学的多样性图景，该特征此前已在过往航次中被探明。该区域的流体动力学过程与系统规律存在显著分异，短距离范围内常量元素组成便呈现出各异的演化趋势。
