Soil Mapping Units - Union County

This coverage was created as part of an Ohio Capability Analysis Land Capability Analysis Project in cooperation with the Top of Ohio RC&D and the Logan-Union-Champaign Regional Planning Commission. Soil mapping units can be used in environmental analyses, erosion analyses, land use planning, etc. They can be used to map a variety of soil characteristics such as texture, pH, depth to seasonal high water table and other information from the tables included in the soil survey.
