Magnetic biochar-assisted high-solids anaerobic digestion of chicken manure: focusing on the alleviation mechanism of ammonia inhibition phenomenon

High-Solid Anaerobic Digestion (HS-AD) of chicken manure often faces the problem of ammonia inhibition. In this experiment, the effects of three magnetic biochar (MBC) on the performance of chicken manure HS-AD were investigated. The results showed that methane production was significantly enhanced in all MBC-assisted groups.
