HydroSHEDS是一个全球性的水文地理信息系统数据库，提供流域边界、河流网络和湖泊等多分辨率水文数据产品。该数据库支持水文生态研究和全球应用，数据以标准GIS格式免费提供，构成水文、环境、保护、社会经济和人类健康评估的地理空间框架。HydroSHEDS v2版本即将发布，将基于TanDEM-X数据集提供全球覆盖。
HydroSHEDS is a global hydrographic geographic information system database that provides multi-resolution hydrological data products including watershed boundaries, river networks and lakes. It supports hydroecological research and global-scale applications, with its data freely available in standard GIS formats and serving as a geospatial framework for hydrological, environmental, conservation, socio-economic and human health assessments. HydroSHEDS v2 is set to be released, and will offer global coverage based on the TanDEM-X dataset.
