Our RNAseq showed that VMAT2 inhibition to pancreatic bud from E12.5 for 2 days promoted pancreatic branching morphogenesis and differentiation. The Genes associated with antioxidant activity was also changed, which indicated the possible involvement of ROS in branching morphogenesis. To gain insights into the molecular mechanism underlying the impact of the VMAT2-monoamine pathway on pancreatic development, we conducted RNAseq to analyze the global expression profiles of Tetrabenazine (TBZ)-treated and control pancreatic buds cultured from E12.5, for 2 days.
