Confocal data of Alveoderes yamamotoi, holotype, NIGP203385

This dataset contains the raw confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) slices for the holotype of Alveoderes yamamotoi (NIGP203385) from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber. This dataset is associated with the publication "Alveoderes gen. nov., the earliest fossil of Bothrideridae from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber (Coleoptera: Coccinelloidea)" (DOI:10.1590/S1984-4689.v41.e23084). Confocal images were obtained with a Zeiss LSM710 confocal laser scanning microscope, using the 488 nm (Argon) laser excitation line. The original CZI files are provided, which could be opened by the ZEISS ZEN software.
