Marine Mammal Authorization Program

The Marine Mammal Authorization Program (MMAP) allows commercial fishers to lawfully "incidentally take" a marine mammal in a commercial fishery. The person must complete an online mortality/ injury reporting electronic form within 48 hours of the end of a fishing trip in which the mortality or serious injury occurred, or, for non-vessel fisheries, within 48 hours of the occurrence.海洋哺乳动物授权计划（Marine Mammal Authorization Program，简称MMAP）准许商业渔民在商业渔业活动中合法地“意外捕获”海洋哺乳动物。渔民须在捕鱼之旅结束且发生死亡或严重伤害后的48小时内，或对于非船舶渔业，在事件发生后的48小时内，完成在线死亡/伤害报告的电子表格。
