Series-temporal transcriptome profiling of cotton reveals the response mechanism of phosphatidylinositol signaling system in the early stage of drought stress

To investigate the response mechanism in the early stage of cotton to drought stress, we performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of roots, stems and leaves from cottons treated with 10% PEG 6000 for 0 min (control), 10 min, 30 min, 60 min and 180 min. Overall design: We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 3 tissues at 5 time points after PEG treatments.
