Homo sapiens Targeted Locus (Loci)

In order to query the potential relevance of rare allelic variation in genes associated with urinary calcium excretion, we decided to amplify and sequence the exons of 40 candidate genes in 960 individuals with high and low urinary calcium excretion (extremes of urinary calcium excretion). The DNA samples of individuals were pooled in sets of 20 (based on degree of calcium excretion) prior to amplification and sequencing. The raw data provided includes all data with at least 20x or higher sequence coverage. Sample pools 4,5,7-11, 31-33, 35-37 and 40 contain DNA samples of individuals with low urinary calcium excretion, whereas samples 15-26, 43, 47, 48, 50-54 are of those individuals with high urinary calcium excretion.
