mreB-40aa-sfGFP sfGFP-11aa-mbl::spec ΔponA::catNotes from Mike Dion:bMD204 is our "dual-tagged" strain, where mreB is C-terminally tagged and includes a 40 aa linker, while mbl is N-terminally tagged and uses an 11 aa linker. Clumps mildly in liquid LB. This can be easily disrupted by very mild vortexing, or growing them in the presence of 10 mM MgCl2. The clumping is the result of their ponA deletion; none of these clumped prior to knocking out ponA.
