Benthic Foraminifera Collected from the Magdalen Shallows, Gulf of St. Lawrence, 1963

Data on marine benthonic foraminifera were obtained from samples collected in late August of 1963 in the Magdalen Shallows aboard CNAV Sackville with a modified Van Veen bottom grabber. Samples were collected from the sediment in water depths from 37 meters to 77 meters.
Only species presence is included in this OBIS view. The original report also contains information about the physical environment and relative percentages of forams found in each sample(Vilks,1968).
