Social environment and its impact on the economic performance of companies on the example of nonprofit institutions providing assistance to the mentally disabled.

The report represent examination of the social environment, and its impact on the economic performance of the company. The audited company is a non-profit foundation that helps people with intellectual disabilities. The study was conducted based on data from the years 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011. The survey is conducted on the basis of the work of John Zietlowa in which the indicator is presented showing the company's financial condition, namely FHI (Financial Health Index). The paper presents the financial condition of the company and its variation over the period.
