资源简介:
Infectious hematopoietic necrosis virus (IHNV) and infectious pancreatic
necrosis virus (IPNV) are important viral fish pathogens that can cause high
levels of mortality in populations of intensively cultured fish. These viruses
can infect various life stages of salmonid and, in the case of IPNV,
nonsalmonid fishes, and fish that survive primary infection can be lifelong
virus carriers. Both IHNV and IPNV can be readily transmitted between
generations and among contemporary generations. Empirical observations and
experimental evidence indicate that species susceptibility is greatest in brook
trout, followed respectively by rainbow trout, brown trout, lake trout, and
Atlantic salmon.
