"Labour and Business Survey 2012"

This dataset is derived from the survey "Labour and Business Survey 2012" conducted by Statistics Norway (SSB) on behalf of the Institute for Social Research (ISF). ISF is an independent, non-commercial research foundation that works to generate knowledge and understanding in areas that are important for social development. The Institute has over the years exposed new societal problems and issues within the workplace, politics and society. The purpose of this study is to contribute to an understanding of the role corporations, businesses and workplaces have on exclusion and inclusion of workers. The data collected in the survey founds the basis of a major research project on the challenges in the workplace (Work Life Challenges). Nearly half of the businesses chosen in the survey are taken from the participants in a similar survey conducted by SSB for ISF in 2003. Approximately half of these again participated in a survey on the same theme in 1997. In this way the changes from 1997 to 2012 can be recorded.
