SDG 17.12.1 Average preferential tariff applied by developed-country markets to products exported from Qatar, by product category

This dataset reports the average preferential import tariff faced by products exported from Qatar in developed-country markets, by product category. It is a country-level series supporting SDG indicator 17.12.1 on tariffs faced by developing countries. Preferential rates may be available under non-reciprocal preference schemes or trade agreements, subject to eligibility criteria such as rules of origin. The methodology assumes that preferences are fully utilized, although exporters may not always be able to use them. The measure covers tariff barriers only and does not capture non-tariff measures. Product codes are expanded in English and Arabic.
