Parkes observations for project PX501 semester 2019OCTS_07

This proposal relates to time purchased by the Chinese Academy of Sciences for Parkes follow-up confirmation and timing of FAST discoveries. As the observing time has been purchased this proposal (and the related PX500) does not require TAC grading. The primary reason for submitting a proposal is to ensure an outreach statement and that the proposal is entered into OPAL for the data archive to access. The Chinese team have two time requests. The time scheduled for the first (PX500) will be allocated in blocks of 24 hours and the data will become available in the data archive with an 18 month embargo period. The second type of time (relating to this proposal) will be scheduled in shorter blocks and the data archived with a 10 year embargo.

本提案涉及中国科学院为帕克斯望远镜（Parkes）开展500米口径球面射电望远镜（Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope, FAST）发现天体的后续验证与计时观测所购置的观测时长。鉴于该观测时长已完成购置，本提案（及相关的PX500提案）无需接受时间分配委员会（Time Allocation Committee, TAC）的评审分级。提交本提案的核心目的在于确保完成公众科普推广声明（Outreach Statement），并将本提案录入OPAL系统，以供数据归档模块调取使用。中方团队共提出两项观测时长申请：第一项申请（PX500）对应的观测时长将以24小时为单元进行分配，相关数据纳入数据归档系统后将设置18个月的禁公开期（embargo period）；与本提案对应的第二项观测时长申请将以更短的单元进行排期，相关数据归档后将设置10年的禁公开期。
