NRS-391 | Report of a select committee on colonial accounts, and later instructions to Governors

This is the report and resolutions of a Select Committee of the House of Commons on the keeping of colonial accounts. In the first volume NRS 391[2/859] a list of witnesses, minutes of evidence, and an appendix of the form accounts and estimates should take using figures for the years 1842-43 as examples, are also included. The second volume NRS 391[2/860] contains instructions to the Governors of Colonies 1847 and blank forms to be used in setting out returns, occasionally using figures relating to Van Diemen's Land in 1846 as examples. There are pencil annotations to the instructions in the second volume - comments on the various articles and their application in New South Wales.(2/859-60). 2 vols.
