This dataset comprises map entries generated by 20 distinct settlement generators from the Minecraft Generative Design Contest (GDMC), with special emphasis on the "Volcano Map" utilized in the 2021 iteration of the contest. Besides raw map data, the dataset also incorporates uniform field-of-view data collected from these maps, which has been preprocessed and optimized via subsampling and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to facilitate analytical research. Covering 20 unique settlement generators, this dataset includes in-depth studies of two of these generators, with the core objective of evaluating the effectiveness of generation pipelines in Procedural Content Generation (PCG) through analysis of the collected uniform field-of-view data.
