VPRS 16124 Plans and Lithographs of Bridges

This series was an estray handed over to the Public Record Office Victoria in 2002 by Mr Fred Pedelty, former Chief Draftsman for Roads Corporation (also known as VicRoads).The series comprises plans and lithographs of bridges apparently sent for the use of road engineers in the field.The plans were created by various agencies responsible for the construction and maintenance of main roads and bridges from ?1855 to ?1898.The P1 consignment contains plans of bridges over river Hopkins and river Yarra including Queens bridge, Princes bridge, Punt Road bridge, Cremorne bridge, Church Street bridge and Glen Iris bridge.

本系列档案为2002年由维多利亚道路局（Roads Corporation，又名VicRoads）前首席绘图员弗雷德·佩尔蒂（Fred Pedelty）先生移交至维多利亚公共档案馆（Public Record Office Victoria）的散失档案。该系列包含桥梁设计图与平版印刷图（lithographs），显然系供外勤道路工程师使用的作业资料。上述图纸由1855年至1898年间（年份标注存疑）负责主干道及桥梁建造与维护的各类机构编制。其中P1批次藏品包含霍普金森河（Hopkins River）与亚拉河（Yarra River）上的桥梁设计图，涵盖女王桥（Queens Bridge）、王子桥（Princes Bridge）、庞特路桥（Punt Road Bridge）、克里莫恩桥（Cremorne Bridge）、教堂街桥（Church Street Bridge）以及格伦埃里斯桥（Glen Iris Bridge）。
