The litter depth was measured using a ruler. Data collection was conducted at six equidistant points (every 50 meters) during November and December of 2020 and 2021, within 40 permanent plots distributed across 4 RAPELD modules in the Tapajós National Forest and 25 plots in the Alter do Chão Environmental Protection Area. Each permanent plot is 250 meters long, with measurements taken at the 0, 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250-meter points along its length. For each plot, the average of the six measurements was calculated and used as the representative metric. The dataset includes both the absolute values for each point and the calculated averages.
