Our previous results from RNA-seq and IP-MS together suggest that SUMOylation may be critical for the DNA-binding capability of HEY1 to enhance its transcriptional repressive activity. To confirm our speculation, we conducted ChIP assays in HUVECs. Overall design: Samples were from human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVECs) infected with adenovirus expressing HEY1-WT/3KR. Egight samples were divided into two groups: HEY1-WT group and HEY1-3KR group. Each group was divided in to "input" (as control) and "ChIP". There were 2 replicates for single experiment.
