Dataset of parasitological and pseudoparasitological findings in fecal samples of free-ranging maned wolves (Chrysocyon brachyurus) from Serra da Canastra National Park, Brazil

This dataset contains the primary data generated from the coproparasitological analysis of fecal samples collected from free-ranging maned wolves (Chrysocyon brachyurus) in Serra da Canastra National Park, Minas Gerais, Brazil, between April 2023 and June 2025. It includes information on sample identification, collection date, seasonality, sampling location, macroscopic fecal composition, parasitological findings, and the occurrence of parasitism and pseudoparasitism. Coproparasitological examinations were performed at the Diagnostic Support Laboratory for Parasitic Diseases, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Fluminense Federal University (UFF), using the Sheather centrifugal flotation technique and the Hoffman, Pons and Janer spontaneous sedimentation technique.
