We found a strain Ec15103 carrying both blaCTX-M-14 and blaCTX-M-64, then we sequenced the WGS of this strain Ec15103, and found the difference is that blaCTX-M-64 is not located in the plasmid but on the chromosome of bacteria. Subsequently, we conducted a series of drug resistance mechanism studies on Ec15103, hoping to understand the genetic basis of drug resistance genes on its chromosomes and delay the pace of bacterial drug resistance.
