User experience of wheelchair users and naive people using a virtual reality wheelchair simulator

The dataset is about user experience while using a virtual reality based wheelchair simulator. 

10 healthy volunteers (wheelchair naïve-users, WNUs) and 10 expert wheelchair users (WUs) due to spinal cord injury were recruited. They performed one session during which they tested an indoor (IE) and an outdoor (OE) VR environment. Measures to assess user experience such as the System Usability Scale, the Technological Acceptance Measure, and the Suitability Evaluation Questionnaire were administered. 

The current work is part of the “Rientr@ - ambienti virtuali e aumentati per facilitare il reinserimento a casa e al lavoro dopo infortunio” project whose aim is promoting return to work of wheelchair users after a job-related injury.
