资源简介:
The survey was conducted by Statistics Norway for The Directorate of Labour. Report no.14 to the Storting (1977-1978) on employment policies formed the basis for making a survey on women's work. The report defined different groups as problem groups in relation to the labour market. These are groups that have low participation in income generating employment and an unstable relation to the labour market. Women were at the end of the 70s counted among these problem groups and were considered marginal in relation to the labour market. The purpose of the study was to examine women's labour force participation and employment situation and collect information about the workload in their own and others' households, family commitments and conditions relating to their spouse's employment. For women in paid work: The survey aims to measure the extent of income generating work, working time, work-related travel and absence from work. In addition the survey wanted to see how marriage and childbirth affect women's employment, career patterns and working conditions.
