Grindon

New panel of prehistoric rockart discovered as part of NOWTAG landscape survey of West Greyside, Northumberland in February 2020. Earthfast boulder of length 0.55m x width 0.50m x height 0.10m found in an improved pasture field near Grindon, carved with cojoined cups (4 or 5 on the south side partially smoothed into a linear groove, 3 oval depressions and 3 single cup-marks).
