Decoupling the influence of growth and defense in the yeast stress response

We demonstrate that ESR activation upon stress cannot be simply explained by cell cycle distribution or growth arrest. We further study translation regulations under cel cycle arrested condition and upon stress via polysome-seq.本研究证实，应激条件下的雌激素受体（Estrogen Receptor, ESR）激活无法仅通过细胞周期分布或生长阻滞简单解释。我们进一步借助多核糖体测序（Polysome-seq）技术，对细胞周期阻滞状态下以及应激条件下的翻译调控机制展开研究。
