Real-time collection of environmental humidity and power consumption data of rotary dehumidifiers via sensors enables dynamic adjustment of dehumidifier operating parameters, thereby shortening the time required to reach target environmental humidity levels. Based on this dataset, energy-saving schemes (such as time-of-use (TOU) pricing scheduling) can be developed. For example, during the off-peak tariff period in Zhejiang Province (22:00 to 8:00 the next day), operating the equipment at full load during periods of high dehumidification efficiency can reduce comprehensive energy consumption costs by approximately 10%. This dataset also supports the following application scenarios: it can be applied to underground spaces such as parking lots and shopping malls, delivering the following benefits: 1. Humidity control: improving damp indoor environments; 2. Equipment protection: preventing moisture-induced damage to electrical equipment; 3. Occupant comfort: providing a more comfortable living/working environment. Using this dataset can significantly reduce energy consumption in underground engineering projects. This dataset is built upon real-time collection of environmental humidity and power consumption data of rotary dehumidifiers via sensors, and the following formula for dehumidification efficiency is established: Dehumidification efficiency (L/h) = 0.15 × Power Consumption + 0.04 × (Environmental Humidity - 45) Different operating strategies are adopted based on real-time dehumidification efficiency: 1. When dehumidification efficiency > 0.5: operate at full power (e.g., 3.0kW) to rapidly reduce ambient humidity; 2. When 0.3 < dehumidification efficiency ≤ 0.5: linearly reduce the dehumidifier's power output to the baseline value (e.g., 1.5kW); 3. When dehumidification efficiency ≤ 0.3: switch to energy-saving mode (e.g., 0.5-1.0kW) to maintain stable operation. Furthermore, a database of the "Equipment Operating Time-Energy Consumption Model" can be generated using daily dehumidification efficiency data collected during equipment operation, which supports the development of energy-saving schemes to facilitate efficient equipment operation management.
