Distribution of calbindin-positive neurons in the normal adult mouse brain (v2)

High-resolution bright-field microscopy images of coronal brain sections showing calbindin-positive neurons across the normal adult mouse brain. The dataset consists of image series covering the entire brain from eight C57Bl6/J mice. For each brain, every sixth section was processed by diaminobenzidine (DAB) immunohistochemistry using a monoclonal calbindin (RRID:AB_10000347) antibody. The data can be used to investigate the distribution of calbindin positive neurons in the mouse brain, and may be compared to our published data from developing brains acquired using the same techniques.
