Fungal community in the ectomycorrhizosphere determined by ITS sequencing

To understand the microbiome community in the ectomycorrhizosphere, a total of 21 rhizosphere soil samples collected from Kunming Botanical Garden. The blank samples were soil collected from small bare areas which treated as blank control; rhizosphere soil samples of 5-8 year old Proteaceae trees, Macadamia integrifolia (MI), were sampled and treated as non-mycorrhizal control; five ectomycorrhizal host tree species, Quercus glauca (QG), Quercus variabilis (QV), Keteleeria pubescens (KP), Populus adenopoda (PA) and Pinus yunnanensis (PY) were selected to sample ectomycorrhizosphere soils. Then DNA was extracted and fungal ITS region were PCR amplified and sequenced. The raw reads were submitted here.
