资源简介:
This project investigates the microbial diversity of phyllosphere communities associated with co-occurring mosses and vascular plants in an alpine ecosystem within the Nockberge Biosphere Reserve, Austria. The study compares bacterial and fungal communities across 52 plant-moss "twins," focusing on the influence of host identity and contrasting soil types (carbonate vs. silicate). Mosses and vascular plants were found to host distinct microbial communities, with mosses demonstrating greater bacterial diversity and environmental responsiveness. This dataset aims to enhance our understanding of how plant type and soil environment shape microbial biodiversity, contributing valuable insights into phyllosphere microbiome dynamics in alpine habitats.
