Metagenomics and next generation sequencing supported the characterization of viromes and described the presence of different viral families in female anogenital region, however data on the cervical virome are still scarce. This study aimed to characterize the cervical circular DNA virome and identify the HPV variants in HIV/HPV co-infected women by large-scale sequencing.
