To reveal the role of the CUL3 protein in the ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS) during salt stress, a transcriptomic analysis was performed comparing the wild type and AtCUL3a mutant grown under both normal conditions and 150 mM NaCl supplementation. The findings underscore Cullin3 as a promising molecular target for engineering salt-tolerant crops.
