An 8.6-million-year record of isoprenoid glycerol dialkyl glycerol dialkyl (brGDGT) distributions from Lake Baikal, Russia. i-GDGTs are membrane spanning lipids produced by archaea in numerous growth media. The data archived here document shifts in iGDGT distributions and were not used to reconstruct temperature change.本数据集包含俄罗斯贝加尔湖地区时间跨度达860万年的类异戊二烯型甘油二烷基甘油二烷基（brGDGT）分布序列记录。i-GDGTs（类异戊二烯型甘油二烷基甘油四醚）是古菌在多种生长介质中合成的跨膜脂质。本存档数据记录了i-GDGTs的分布变化，且未被用于古温度重建。
