S. cerevisiae PHO13 is one of haloacid dehalogenase (HAD) subfamily IIA genes, of which sequences are highly conserved in prokaryotes and eukaryotes. However, their biochemical and biological functions have not been fully understood yet. This study investigated transcriptomic changes by the deletion of PHO13 in S. cerevisiae.
