ADHD in Latin America: Synthetic Dataset on Prevalence, Incidence and Case Numbers (GBD-based, 1990–2026)

Synthetic and coherent CSV dataset on ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) prevalence, incidence, and case numbers in Latin America and globally, covering the period 1990–2026. Data are based on Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 1990–2021 published estimates for subregions (Tropical Latin America, Central Latin America) and supplemented with country-level estimates from peer-reviewed studies (Chile, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia). Rows marked as 'Interpolated' or 'Projection' are synthetic values derived from observed GBD trends and do not represent official GBD figures. Country-level prevalence rows mix real study data points with clearly labeled synthetic assumptions ('supuesto sintético'). Intended for exploratory analysis, visualization, and educational purposes. For formal publications, replace approximate values with official GBD tables. Fields: region, country, year, indicator_type, age_group, sex, measure, value, source, notes.
