资源简介:

This doctoral-level research examines the acute influence of isometric pre-fatigue on explosive sprint start performance in trained female athletes. Using a randomized crossover design, the study compares biomechanical performance metrics—including 10 m sprint time, block-exit velocity, and peak horizontal force—following a standard warm-up versus a warm-up incorporating high-intensity isometric squat holds. Findings reveal significant enhancements in sprint start variables after isometric pre-fatigue, indicating a potential post-activation potentiation (PAP) effect. These results suggest that targeted isometric fatigue may increase muscle contractility and neural activation, improving short-distance sprint acceleration. The study contributes novel insights into sports performance science by highlighting the role of isometric pre-conditioning for sprint optimization in female athletes.
