MCTR3 reprograms arthritic monocytes to upregulate Arginase-1 and exert pro-resolving and tissue-protective functions in experimental arthritis

We aim to demonstrate that pro-resolving mediator maresin conjugate in tissue regeneration 3 (MCTR3) potently regulates join arthritic inflammation as well as bone and cartilage repair. K/BxN serum was administered to C57BL/6 to induce prolong inflammatory arthritis. Mice were treated with monocytes isolated from arthritic mice that were previously incubated with vehicle (n controls = 4) or 1nM MCTR3 (n treatment = 4) . Cells were isolated from paw joints, sorted for CD45+ cells and single cell RNA sequencing was performed.
